Zapier
A Zap in Zapier: a trigger, then steps that run in order, some of which may call a model. This describes a kind of platform, on Zapier's Free plan, not anyone's account. Zapier, which runs the Zap, sees everything it handles, and the fit has no field for that. Checked against Zapier's documentation on 22 October 2026.
- Off for up to
- 15 minutes
Most triggers poll the app for new data, every 15 minutes on the Free plan, 2 on Professional and 1 on Team and Enterprise, so work may wait that long before the Zap sees it. Instant triggers and Schedule by Zapier start sooner. Say PT2M or PT1M on a paid plan. https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496244568589-How-Zap-triggers-work https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496288648461
- Runs steps as
- code
A Zap's steps run in the order set up, the same way every time. A step that asks a model is a step an AI decides, so it counts under calls, not agents. https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496244568589-How-Zap-triggers-work
- AI from
- none
No agent runs over the account: each AI step sees only what the Zap passes it.
- Can call
- any company
AI by Zapier offers models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Azure OpenAI, there are Zapier apps for ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI Studio, and Webhooks by Zapier can send a request to any URL. https://zapier.com/apps/ai/integrations https://zapier.com/apps/anthropic-claude/integrations https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496326446989-Send-webhooks-in-Zap-workflows
- Holds
- nothing
Zapier keeps no folders. Files and notes live in the apps a Zap connects, which a workflow draws as connectors.
